Inkjet cartridges are extremely popular: most computer users are familiar with inkjet printers, as they provide relatively high quality printing and can be used in a variety of industries. The principle which inkjet cartridges use is very straight forward and easy to understand.
Inkjet cartridges are available in the market for various prices. Inkjet cartridges are the main reason why printers are so cheap these days. Printers are offered as sacrifices so that companies can sell you inkjet cartridge refills for a lifetime.
The problem with this scenario is that inkjet cartridges do not cost very much to make, but the printer companies will sell them to you for a huge profit because they know that you are stuck with buying their inkjet cartridge replacements for the life of your printer.
Printers are hungry machines, aren’t they? They go through paper and inks really quickly in a busy office or home. Printers are essentials for office computers as well as for home pc’s. Almost every person at home needs a printer to print his/her work, pictures and other important documents. Printer ink costs a small fortune. Now tell small business owners something they don’t already know.
Compatible cheaper cartridges are mainly available for printers that use simple reservoirs as ink cartridges (such as Canon and Epson) because they are easy to copy. Hewlett Packard (HP) and Lexmark integrate the print head into the inkjet cartridge and protect it by patents, making it difficult for companies to make generic version of these ink cartridges.
Inkjet cartridges are refilled for reuse and returned to the consumer stream as a more environmentally friendly option.
Compatible EPSON cartridges cannot be refilled with much success. They have a very porous sponge in the cartridge which fills with air as the ink leaves. Compatible cartridges may also contain a chip (like the original); these are called Chipped Compatible Cartridges.
Refilled inkjet cartridges are both OEM and non-OEM cartridges that have been refilled using a do-it-yourself refill kit or at a retail refill shop such as Cartridge World, Rapid Refill or Caboodle Cartridge. Refilling Epson inkjet cartridges may or may not work well. The difficulty arises because of the configuration of Epson printers.

If you have a great sense of style and creativity, you should consider constructing quality unique handmade jewelry for individual clients. If you are good at it, you will find that you have customers calling you over and over again to construct special jewelry pieces for them, or as gifts for others.
Making women’s fashion jewelry for example isn’t hard. Again, you need a sense of style and creativity – but the skills needed to make jewelry are very easy to learn. The object is to make your pieces unique – exclusive. When a client wears custom jewelry that you designed and constructed, they should wear it knowing that there is none other like it in the whole world!
Working with clients is actually the hardest part. You need to get a picture in your mind that matches the picture that is in their minds. Never construct the piece while they are watching – this is in effect teaching them how to do it themselves, and you will probably lose a customer. Never let them know just how easy it is!
Talk at length with the client. This is the only way that you can design custom jewelry that matches their likes, dislikes, and personality. If the piece is to be a gift for someone else, ask lots of questions about that person, and if possible, meet them in person yourself. Remember that uniqueness and exclusivity are the key to making this type of business successful – but great communication with the clients is vitally important as well.
Many clients will want you to make custom, handcrafted beaded jewelry using stones or gems that they already have. They may even want you to just enhance a piece that they already have. Before you start doing this, make sure that you have the skill and qualifications necessary to do this work. You do not want to destroy a client’s beloved jewelry! Make sure that you ask about the history of the piece, and find out what special meaning that piece holds for your client as well.
Of course, you will purchase the pieces that you need to make the custom jewelry from wholesale resources. Just make sure that you are buying quality parts – and look for sources for unique jewelry making supplies as well – imported pieces are great sources for uniqueness. You will have to quote your client a price before you start, so be careful here. You don’t want to lose money. Once you’ve quoted a price, deduct 15% to 30% from it. Think of the remainder as your ‘budget’ when buying supplies to make the unique handmade jewelry.

Boots are a big market, you see them everywhere nowadays, in most retail stores, online, speciality stores in the mall. Some would say that boots have become an obsession with me lately.
Boots can match just about any outfit, and I live in a part of the country where most of the time, the weather usually demands boots. Because of my recent fascination, I’ve come across another interesting fashion icon. Sometimes I just don’t feel like wearing hose with my boots, so I choose knee socks.
These particular kind of socks are just what I need because I can tuck them in right at the top of the boot. This enables comfort without the top of my boot rubbing against the area just above the ankle. When I want to add a little flare to the outfit, I choose over the knee socks. With so many different color variations and patterns, this little trick can accent a cute little outfit. Usually though, I find myself opting for the white knee socks. But that’s just me and my conservative self.
The possibilities and combinations are endless. I love my tan suede boots with a few inches of white knee socks peaking over the top. When I feel more attractive, my confidence level for the day increases, and we could all use a confidence boost every now and then.
So the next time you have to wear a pair of boots, or perhaps you just want to, remember, a rather inexpensive clothing item can add comfort and a fashion accent that really stands out in the crowd.

Going to art galleries and art museums was a big part of my life growing up. My parents were big believers in the value of culture. For them, of course, education was important, but even more important was learning to appreciate beautiful art. have to admit that, whatever I may have thought of my parents early attempts to make me a lover of the arts, they definitely worked. By the time I was 13 years old, I loved going to artists galleries of all types. Whether we were taking a trip to New York to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, or sticking around Detroit to go to an opening in a small local gallery, I was always excited to see it. My parents have pretty eclectic tastes. They don’t like everything, but they like things from all directions. They like modern art, classical Art, outsider Art, and even medieval paintings. I grew up with the same eclectic tastes.
My parents were quite happy when I decided to spend my life as an artist. Well, not quite. They had some concerns, and reasonable ones at that. You see, making a living as an artist is no easy task. Just getting art gallery shows can be difficult, and actually selling off pieces of arts can be near to impossible. For every successful painter, sculptor, or photographer, there are probably dozens of gallery artists who are struggling to make ends meet. You have to be able to schmooze art gallery owners, make the right connections with art patrons, and generally make an impression on the world of fine art.
Fortunately, the World Wide Web has really leveled the painting field. Nowadays, many of the works that are bought and sold are marketed on virtual art galleries. A lot of people are quick to discount them as a medium for selling art. They correctly point out that such things as stroke texture, luster, and even some of the subtleties of shading can’t be communicated over computer screens. They are right, but this is hardly the point. The point is that an online art gallery allows people all over the world to look at your art. Even if these virtual art galleries can not completely reproduce every nuance of your works, they certainly provide enough to give people a taste. I have some pretty good connections, but I still would say that I have sold the majority of my work through online art galleries. It is far and away the most lucrative way to go about it.

We spent a week in Colorado the beginning of June. My family has had a cabin in Estes Park since 1932. My Dad’s father built it by hand when my Dad was just a couple of years old. This is on the east slope of the Rockies. There are trees starting to die on that side.
The real surprise was when we drove to the western slope. Entire square miles of forest are dead and brown. The pines have been killed by the Pine Beetle. The Pine Beetle is the most destructive forest pest in North America. The Canadian Forest Service describes the current pine beetle epidemic as the largest insect infestation in North American history.
Mountain Pine Beetles have a one year life cycle. In late summer (usually July-Aug in Rocky Mountain States) the newly hatched adults leave the tree of their metomorphosis, seeking out larger trees (usually over 13″ diameter if possible) in the surrounding area. (In areas with heavy infestation, beetle hatchlings may take even smaller trees as pressure to get ANY tree increases). When the adults arrive, they begin tunneling under the bark, lay eggs, which turn to larvae and live through the winter to produce more egg-laying adults to attack more trees. Colorado State University guesses that one infested tree will kill at least two or more trees. Thus the exponential devastation occurs.
Beetles and other insects communicate using pheromones. Verbenone – a synthetic pheromone treatment for high value pine trees – replicates the beetle pheromone, sending a message that the tree is full and that the food supply is insufficient for additional beetles. Arriving beetles receive the ‘message’ that they should look elsewhere for a suitable host. The easiest way to keep an eye on what is happening with your trees is with a properly placed nanny cam. Most cabins are not occupied throughout the entire year. But they are worth watching.
